Export your memory from Grok

Grok has a dedicated settings page for reviewing exactly what it's learned about you.

1

Open Grok's memory settings

On Grok Web, open the menu → Settings → Data Controls → Memory. You'll see the individual memories Grok has stored, with the option to review or delete each one.

2

Copy what's listed

Copy the memories shown there as your portable profile. This feature is still rolling out region by region and marked beta by xAI, so what you see may be incomplete.

Grok's memory feature is still in beta as of the most recent reporting — the exact settings path may shift as it stabilizes. We couldn't confirm a way to import memory into Grok from elsewhere yet, so this is an export-only guide for now.

Import memory into Gemini

Google built an official, dedicated tool for this — it accepts either a pasted memory summary or a full exported chat-history file.

1

Open Gemini's import page

Google built a page specifically for bringing your context in from another AI service.

2

Paste your profile, or upload your chat export

Paste your already-formatted memory profile directly, or — uniquely among the services we cover — upload a full .zip chat-history export instead. Gemini will process either.
